Learning Resource Center

HISD Learning Resource Center maintains a large circulation of Accelerated Reading books for students in grades K-12. This circulation is increased every year and is supported by the yearly sales from the Scholastic Book Club.

Several computers with high speed internet connections are available for online research by students, staff, parents, and community members.

HISD Learning Resource Center also houses periodicals, a digital camera, laptop computers, Waterford Early Literacy Program Access, Accelerated Reading Access, Accelerated Math Access, CEI access, and research access.
