Jimmy Hoyle became the Superintendent of Hartley on July 1, 1997.  He has served in Texas public education for more than 30 years, starting as a teacher/coach in the Dawson County School District.  Jimmy Hoyle also served as teacher/coach in the Dimmitt, Perryton and Booker school districts. 

Jimmy Hoyle earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree from West Texas State University, now known as West Texas A&M University, Canyon, Texas.  He completed his administrative certification at Sul Ross State University, Alpine, Texas.  He has served as counselor, principal, or superintendent for the past 18 years.
