Wade Lenz

Wade Lenz was elected President in 2008 and first served as a member in 2006. He has been married to Toni since 1989 and they have one child, Geriet, at Hartley school. He is a graduate of Hartley and the family has lived in the area since the early seventies. He is the owner and operator of Lenz Farm. Mr. Lenz chose to serve on the board because "I care about the community and I want the best for our children."

J. D. Clark

J.D. Clark, Vice President, was elected to the Hartley ISD school board in May of 2006.  He has been a resident of Hartley since 1999.  J.D.'s wife, Pam, has been a teacher at Hartley School for the past six years.  He has four boys attending Hartley School.  They are J.W., Jack, Matthew and Michael.  He feels being active in the community and the school is beneficial to all involved and hopes to " help make Hartley an even better school than it already is."

Ryan Hoehn

Ryan Hoehn, Secretary, was elected to the HISD board in 2002.  Ryan and Karla have been married since 1987 and have lived in Hartley since 1999. Their son Jared graduated Hartley High in 2007 to attend Clarendon College. Their daughter, Tawny, is a graduate, also, from HISD. Quality Engines of Hartley is owned and operated by Ryan. The family also owns and operates Rockin' H Cattle Company. Ryan hopes to “make a difference in children’s education.”
